Branding, Visuals and Website
Digitiana Electronics create custom modules and expansion units to be used with Electronic Music Studio’s legendary Synthi A, AKS and VCS3 analogue synthesisers. Over the years, many other products have been added to the catalogue including a clone of the EMS Synthi Hi-FLi, as well as a collaboration with UK band the Future Sound of London to create two new stand alone units.
The only instance of any branding was an engraved badge attached to the back of the units. To start the branding process I re-drew the suitcase logo, tidying and simplifying the icon so it can be rendered easily by engraving, printing or digital output.
The graphic style was influenced by the circuit diagrams and engraving methods of the front panels. Only black and white are used as brand colours, touching on a ‘positive/negative’ theme, which also suitably ensured the graphics did not clash with the imagery.
I visualised the images using Rhino and Cinema 4D, to give a better representation of the products and to create a more consistent library of images, with more accurate colours and sizes, for use on the website and printed items.
